Enjoyed a stunning evening out at the first public performance at Odeon Richmond<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jodi Phillis<\/a> (ably supported by Stephanie Cherote<\/a>) treated a full house to a whole batch of new unreleased tracks from her latest work in progress, a project about Vali Myers and her partner Gianni Menichetta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odeon’s surround sound system was put to great use and through Jodi’s judicious incorporation of minimalist backing tracks, really showed off this gorgeously evocative new material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <\/a>audience pulled in their chairs nice and close to absorb every nuance. You could’ve heard a pin drop. Latecomers politely waited in the foyer and then joined us between songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s an absolute joy to see once more there is a venue where it’s all about the musical experience and the artists come first…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Odeon Richmond, I know I’ve found my happy place. \"\u2764\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the bulk of what we were treated to is as yet unreleased, it can’t be shared (you had to be there!) but here are 4 tracks that Jodi has kindly aproved for public viewing.
